A journey beyond riding
The Tabiano Castello Riding Club is located among the Tabiano farmhouses. It was founded by Asia Maccari, an ACSI classical riding instructor inspired by the Légèreté philosophy, an approach that focuses on harmony, communication between horse and rider, and the horse’s wellbeing. Guests of the farmhouses and their children can therefore during their stay approach the world of horses in safety, supervised by a professional instructor, in an animal-friendly environment and surrounded by the beauty of our hills.
A place where horses can live in harmony with their nature
Management choices within our centre are based on scientific studies on the evolution of the equine species, to recreate an environment that meets their natural needs as much as possible, including freedom of movement and interaction with their peers. These are essential characteristics for their physical and emotional health.
Horseback riding
Discovering the area on horseback is a unique experience. We organise rides through the hills surrounding Tabiano Castle and beyond; imagine being able to visit this medieval manor on horseback. It is an experience of times gone by as you ride through the gardens and courtyards of Tabiano Castle and discover its history on horseback. Young people aged 18 and over and adults of all experience levels are eligible for our walks.
Classical Riding School
A course open to children (aged 6 and up), young people and adults of all experience levels, focusing on classical riding in the Légèreté philosophy. The aim is to learn to ride with technique and empathy for the horse.
- Learning to take care of the horse: management and care to become autonomous in activities with him.
- Getting to know the horse and its language: how horses talk to us and how we can communicate with them.
Approach activities to the world of horses
For those who wish to get closer to these wonderful animals, we also offer dedicated routes for the youngest children (aged 4 and up):
- Learning how to take care of the horse.
- Learning to communicate with the horse through play.
Team building for companies: leadership and collaboration with horses
We offer corporate team building courses, where participants can:
- Improving team collaboration and productivity through practical exercises with horses.
- Develop conscious leadership, learning to lead with authority, respect and empathy.
- Development of problem solving and cooperation skills in a natural and challenging environment.
- Strengthening team spirit.
